Description

Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) marked a transformative chapter in Kansas City University’s (KCU) history with the launch of the new Center for Population Health and Equity (CPHE). This initiative reflects KCU’s dedication to addressing the social and structural determinants of health – factors that are the root causes of health inequities affecting both the Kansas City and Joplin regions. The CPHE is central to KCU’s goal to educate students and engage communities in creating lasting change to improve health outcomes beyond traditional health care systems
