Abstract
The autopsy of a 62-year-old man with Cronkhite-Canada syndrome is presented. In addition to the characteristic gastrointestinal inflammatory polyposis, there was a systemic vasculitis attributable to repeated hyperalimentation influions. This finding, accompanied by the demonstration of cutaneous anergy to many common antigens, suggests an associated abnormal immunologic reactivity in this syndrome.
