Description
Mazzacano Library opened in 1968 at 7th Avenue and Garfield. It was named for Vito Mazzacano, a local labor leader and supporter of the library. It was the university's first free-standing library building. It was in operation until 1996 when the library moved to Strickland Educational Pavilion. Its former location is now the front entrance to Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center.
